
Here’s a cartoon I made out of a wee touch of bitterness for narcissistic parenting. I put in my three-haired character again… and an ice cream sandwich. Any other child type ideas out there?
On an entirely different note, here’s an interesting website describing the day in the life of an aerial photographer. It’s interesting to see that he still uses film.
And two wild ways to interact with photography on flickr… pick a color and they pick images that use that color. Here and here.

I’d love to be able to incorporate the little character in the center of this in more of my cartoons. She’s a bit of an alter ego.
Just discovered a great photographer. And, if you don’t know already, stumble upon is amazing and a bit addictive. The web is a MUCH more interesting place with it.

I met Mr. New York Times Cartoon Editor. He said my cartoons were funny. That was nice of him – but he hadn’t seen this one.
I fell in love with a cartoon contest image of people sitting around a business meeting with parrots on their shoulders. The winning caption: Shut up, Bob, everyone knows your parrot’s a clip-on.

I’m off to the Positive Psychology conference this week to talk about research (on life satisfaction and depression) where Robert Mankoff, the cartoon editor of the New Yorker, will be speaking. I’ve made up a portfolio of my favorite cartoons, which I’m hoping to give him. Oddly enough, he used to be a psych grad student, too.
